Job Overview For our Lugano Office (Switzerland), we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in designing and implementing JAVA REST-based API systems and BPMN- driven systems. The ideal candidate brings deep technical proficiency, solid architectural insight, and the ability to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. What you'll do: Development & Integration: Design, develop, integrate, and test Java-based backend solutions, microservices architectures, and REST APIs Expertise in Java/Microservices/API Solutions: Act as a subject matter expert, supporting the lifecycle management and development of robust Java solutions Collaboration: Work closely with Agile teams, providing expert consultation and support to product owners to gather requirements and document solutions that align with business objectives Secure Coding: Apply best practices in secure coding to ensure all solutions are robust, secure, and aligned with regulatory requirements What you bring: Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in computer science or engineering At least 5 years of experience in software design and development of Java microservices architectures Ideally, experience within the financial sector, especially in Cards &
