The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom. About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Concierge Department in Zurich, the Front of House Trainee supports the Bell Team in daily tasks, ensuring seamless operations throughout the shift. The Front of House Trainee reports to the Assistant Concierge Manager and Front of House Manager. JBRP1_CH THE ROLE As Front of House Trainee, you will be responsible for the following tasks: Assisting guests on arrival by opening car doors for them and escorting them to the front office Be present at the Lobby and support the Team operationally Delivering luggage at check-in and removing luggage from guest rooms at check-out Secure parking of guest vehicles Being an ambassador of the hotel, both being actively engaging with guests and with colleagues Understands and follows all applicable standards, both in terms of quality, sustainability and FLHSS of the Rooms Division, policies and rules Actively advertises our Fans of MO guest recognition program to our guests YOUR TASKS Our commitment to you: Colleague recognition and reward programs An exciting range of learning and development programs Opportunities for promotion and transfers worldwide Colleague social events and wellness programs Swiss Deluxe Rates We're Fans. YOUR BENEFITS As a Front of House Trainee, we expect from you: Enrolled as a student in a Swiss Hotel Management school Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position will include weekend and holiday shifts Good organizational skills with the ability to handle reservations Good understanding of luxury service and willingness to go the extra mile Expressiveness, open-mindedness, and team spirit Ability to work under pressure and flexibility Very good knowledge of German and English.
