People and Operations Specialist (fixed term contract - mat cover % January October 2026Blue Matter is a rapidly growing strategic consulting firm serving clients in the life sciences industry. Primary Responsibilities The roles and responsibilities of the HR Specialist 50-80% will include, but are not limited to the following: Scheduling and organising phone screens and assessment centres for Zurich and London Supporting the Europe People Director with HR administrative activities Providing in-person, local office operational support as needed for the Zurich office Desired Experience and Skills 2+ years experience in a similar role Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German Superb organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work Extremely tech-savvyProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint a MUST Ability to quickly build proficiency in other programs Passionate, curious and open-minded personality with proactive approach to anticipating the needs of our team Ability to work in an agile and dynamic environment, flexing to support the needs of our team Please note this role can be hybrid between in-person/remote working, but will require a minimum of 2.5 days in-person at the Blue Matter Zurich office CH work authorisation Our offer Blue Matter is a specialized management consulting firm focused on serving clients within the bio-pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and medical device sectors.
