With around15,000 employees, the Lindt & Sprüngli Group reported sales of CHF 5.47 billion in 2024.About the role Join our Group as Senior Legal Counsel, Europe, and play a key role in supporting over 10 European subsidiaries and selected strategic Group Transformation initiatives. This position offers a dynamic mix of high-stakes legal advisory, complex contract work, and hands-on involvement in cross-functional projects. You’ll collaborate closely with local CFOs and senior leadership, manage legal risk and litigation, and help shape the legal framework for our European subsidiaries and transformative projects across the Group. Main TasksEuropean subsidiaries: Advise local management and business divisions on high-stakes and high-value legal matters Support CFO on corporate housekeeping matters, bi-annual risk reporting and conduct compliance/legal trainings Support CFOs with monitoring regulatory developments, preparing regulatory filings and policy roll-outs Provide legal support for complex and high-value contracts across all European subsidiariesDraft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documentationDevelop and implement standard framework agreements and contract templates Manage material adverse events, including litigation, crisis response, and potential regulatory breaches Deliver general legal advice across a broad range of topics Select, instruct, and manage external legal counsel Contribute to ad-hoc legal and cross-functional projects Strategic Group Transformation Projects : Deliver comprehensive legal guidance for selected strategic Group Transformation Projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements Your profileEducation/Qualification & Experience: Swiss qualified lawyer with strong academic record LL.M. or MBA is a plus 3 - 5 years of experience as in-house counsel or in a reputable corporate law firm Strong knowledge and understanding of general business law, specifically corporate and contract law Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external counsel Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to address both legal and commercial/financial matters Proven ability to develop proactive and defensive legal strategies; demonstrates strong strategic thinking Self-motivated, hands-on, and solution-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and flexibility Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience in project management, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and drive execution Comfortable managing ambiguity and working under time pressure Language requirements: Fluent spoken and written English and German Any other language is an advantage If you are interested and you want to know more, please contact Timo Leis (General Counsel Markets – Attorney at Law).
