Job Details
As a skilled BA /.NET developer, you will help expand our global analytics team, fueled by rich data from our in-house end-to-end trading system and external datasets. This role offers exceptional opportunities for growth and direct interface with the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a new Master Data platform, unifying all applications and integrating them with a common set of entities – examples: locations, vessels, contracts, and others.
- Analyze business needs and understand required use-cases for disparate systems, designing solutions to meet them.
- Participate in a global development team and provide business applications support and training to users on day-to-day issues.
- Implement clean, well-documented, tested, and extensible code to satisfy business requirements.
- Work on diverse projects, such as GIS-based systems and data ingestion and distribution.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working with C# and related .NET technologies in global enterprise solutions.
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience working in an agile scrum development model.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive interactions with project stakeholders.
- Proactive and user-focused, with a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in the functional and technical aspects of each challenge encountered.
- Drives software development best practices.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent English oral and written skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GraphQL or gRPC is a plus.
- Experience in Reactive Extensions (RX) preferred.
- Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry.
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field.
- French language skills an advantage.
