Job Title: Customs Administrator

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for creating export documents for shipments from our warehouse in Switzerland. Your tasks will involve maintaining and checking customs-relevant master data in the system, reviewing free trade and preference agreements to ensure compliance with customs and preference regulations, and communicating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and customs agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating export documents for shipments from our warehouse in Switzerland
  • Maintaining and checking customs-relevant master data in the system
  • Reviewing free trade and preference agreements to ensure compliance with customs and preference regulations
  • Communicating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and customs agencies
  • Participating in projects within the department, as well as in customs and foreign trade audits
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed training as a forwarding agent or a comparable education
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of customs, especially in import and export processing (EU and Switzerland)
  • Experience in customs tariff classification
  • Knowledge in the field of customs and foreign trade law
  • Very good English skills
  • Profound IT knowledge (MS Office, ideally SAP, customs processing software)
  • Confident demeanor and high resilience
  • Structured and goal-oriented working approach and a high degree of initiative
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, assertiveness, and team spirit
  • Passion and enthusiasm for fashion and lifestyle
