With over 1,200 employees worldwide, we provide products approved in our customers' countries or markets and deliver supply chain and customer services locally. We are currently looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Expert in Geneva.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design cost-efficient and robust solutions for manufacturing.
  • Convert advanced concepts into practical designs.
  • Evaluate and challenge concepts and drawings produced by others.
  • Serve as a reference and coach for robust design within the team.
  • Support actual products within a multi-department team.
  • Maintain expertise on complex multi-physical products.
  • Perform hands-on experimental mounting and testing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics, or Mechatronics.
  • Tolerance management and Robust Design skills.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (Solidworks, Comsol, Ansys).
  • Ability to develop complex systems involving different technologies.
  • Implementation of robust design into industrial products.
  • Broad knowledge of machining capabilities and materials.
  • Proficiency in French and English (must) and German (desired).
  • Geometrical Product Specifications and Tolerance Management experience.
  • Functional Analysis and FMEA skills.
  • Fundamentals of Electrical engineering and Power electronics.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
