Job Summary

As a Cloud Solution Architect Data & AI at Microsoft, you will play a key role in enabling customers to achieve their outcomes based on their investments in Microsoft technology. You will leverage your Microsoft Azure and Data & AI technical subject matter expertise to lead technical conversations with customers, drive value from their MS investments, and identify resolutions to issues blocking customer success projects.

Key Responsibilities

Understand customers' overall data estate business and IT priorities and success measures to design Data & AI solutions that drive business value.
Apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & AI roadmaps, drive POCs and MVPs, and ensure long-term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key AI technologies where appropriate.
Ensure that solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.
Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the Data & AI technical community while educating customers on Azure platform.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Several years of experience in a senior role, focused on cloud/Data platform & AI or Analytics technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND several years of experience in cloud/Data & AI or Analytics technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND several years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Several years of experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
Several years of experience working on Data & AI or Analytics technical projects.
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
