Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Spirax-Sarco Engineering. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and increasing sales within your defined territory through proactive, creative, and effective sales and marketing activities.

About the Role

You will be selling a growing product portfolio made of pumps, valves, connectors, and tube technologies successfully used in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharm Industries. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing customer requirements to select, cost, and quote a suitable solution.
  • Acting as a true consultant who sells solutions rather than products, providing customers with premium support to ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Working closely with peers in other territories and internal stakeholders to achieve sales goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering degree and solid technical experience either through a University degree/diploma or working experience in a similar position.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, with a strong affinity for the Biopharm Industry and flow components.
  • Goal-orientation, ambition, and own initiatives to create and maintain good relationships.
  • Effective communication skills to explain detailed technical information in a clear and concise way.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, work accurately, and adhere to deadlines.
  • A sound level of intrinsic motivation, strong problem-solving, and proactive attitude.
  • Fluency in German and English, with French or Italian being a valuable asset.
  • Flexibility to work from home and live in the assigned territory.
