About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data Services to join our team. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of data professionals, designing and developing data integration and AI services, and ensuring the data foundation is performant and scales with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of data professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Design and develop data integration and AI services to support business needs
  • Ensure the data foundation is performant and scales with business needs
  • Communicate and align with various teams on business and technical needs
  • Responsible for a full GCP project (architecture, choice of technologies, cost monitoring, alerting, etc.)

Requirements

  • Fast learner with ability to connect the dots from a business and technical perspective
  • Extensive programming, SQL, and data modeling skills in cloud environments (GCP, BigQuery is a plus)
  • Ability to work well across different teams, feel comfortable with multithreading, and deal with ambiguity
  • Project management and operational work, able to delegate and spread knowledge and coach
  • Fluent English, French, or German is a plus
