At The International Air Transport Association, we are passionate about making air travel safer, smarter, more sustainable, and more inclusive. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Sustainability and Economics division as an Intern.

About the Team

The Net Zero Transition team is responsible for advocating for climate change-related solutions for aviation and ensuring the right options are available to airlines to support their transition plans. One of our main focus areas is to support the ramp-up of sustainable aviation fuels. We are committed to delivering solutions to support SAF development across regions, leveraging the diversity of feedstocks best suited for aviation, without compromising other decarbonization priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the collection and maintenance of data regarding SAF developments and financing across the globe.
  • Support the team with technical, research, project management, and stakeholders research.
  • Contribute to the development of guidance material for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of team materials for presentations and internal and external capacity building workshops.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in a relevant discipline.
  • Exposure to aviation and sustainability would be an asset.
  • Strong IT and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent planning skills and ability for multi-tasking.
  • Detail-orientation, with strong time management and communications skills.
  • Sensitivity and appreciation to cultural differences in a diverse environment.
