Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our company's data strategy, infrastructure, and systems.

Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing data architectures, developing data models, overseeing data integration and migration, and collaborating with IT teams and the business to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Data Architecture: Developing a blueprint for managing data across the data landscape, selecting the right architecture, technologies, and methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Data Modeling and Design: Creating data models that outline how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems.
  • Integration and Data Migration: Overseeing the integration of new technologies and systems into the data architecture, including migrating data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Working closely with IT teams and the business to ensure the data architecture meets business requirements and supports data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in IT or data-related roles, including positions as a database developer, data engineer, data analyst, software engineer, or data architect.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools and methodologies, understanding of normalization, and experience in designing entity-relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams.
  • Experience with data platform solutions, including data storage, integration tools, and frameworks, data management, and data governance tooling.
  • Understanding of cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of data security principles, privacy laws, and experience in implementing data governance frameworks.
