Data Architect

At Alpiq, we're embarking on a transformative journey, where data plays a vital role. As Data Architect, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing our data strategy, infrastructure, and systems.

• Designing Data Systems: Develop a comprehensive blueprint for managing data across the organization, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Data Modeling: Create data models that outline how data is stored, consumed, and integrated, defining relationships and data flows.
• Integration and Migration: Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems, including data migration from legacy systems to new platforms.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with IT teams and the business to ensure data architecture meets business requirements and supports data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5-10 years of experience in IT or data-related roles, including positions like database developer, data engineer, or data analyst.
• Data Modeling & Design: Proficiency in data modeling tools and methodologies, understanding of normalization, and experience in designing entity-relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Data Technologies: Experience with data platform solutions, including data storage, integration tools, and frameworks.
• Cloud Computing: Understanding of cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Data Security & Governance: Knowledge of data security principles, privacy laws, and experience in implementing data governance frameworks.
