Job Description: Senior Accountant

This critical position plays a vital role in maintaining the bank's financial integrity and accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, providing strategic financial insights, and supporting the bank's overall objectives.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, focusing on enhancing our financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing robust internal controls. This role involves collaborating closely with various departments to streamline financial operations, support decision-making processes, and contribute to the organization's financial health.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the entire spectrum of accounting operations for the bank and its affiliated entities, working closely with the Head of Accounting.
  2. Prepare financial statements, manage accounts payable and receivable, conduct reconciliations, and ensure timely and accurate financial data entry for one or more subsidiaries.
  3. Develop and maintain various dashboards, manage specific analyses, and provide necessary documentation for external and internal audits.
Requirements
  • A minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position within the banking sector.
  • Fiduciary and/or audit experience is appreciated.
  • Fluent French and English language skills are mandatory.
