Senior SAP CO Consultant

Rieter is a leading supplier of systems for manufacturing yarn from staple fibers in spinning mills. As a Senior SAP CO Consultant, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of SAP FI & CO solutions. Your tasks will include providing timely follow-up and second-level expert support for incident resolution and application maintenance, leading project tasks, and performing detailed analysis and assessment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of SAP FI & CO solutions
  • Provide timely follow-up and second-level expert support for incident resolution and application maintenance
  • Lead project tasks and facilitate meetings, follow up with action points, and project deliverables
  • Perform detailed analysis and assessment, evaluate and present implementation options
  • Support the business in optimizing business processes by leveraging SAP capabilities
  • Design efficient and high-quality solutions according to business needs, best practices, and legal requirements
  • Lead and coordinate small-size and mid-size application projects in collaboration with external service providers and business key users
  • Ensure solution sustainability, application monitoring, and non-regression testing
  • Manage relevant verbal and written communications, project and support documentation, user trainings, and knowledge transfer sessions

Requirements:

  • University degree in Information Technology or Finance and Business Administration
  • SAP and project management certification(s) is a plus
  • At least 10 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience with SAP CO
  • SAP system knowledge, configuration, and maintenance experience in overhead controlling, CO-PA, product cost planning, cost object controlling, period-end closing, and new general ledger with profit center accounting
  • Integration with MM, SD, CS, QM, PP, BW, material ledger, ECC 6.0, S/4 HANA, and BOFC/consolidation function is a plus
  • Sound experience in manufacturing industry would be very beneficial
  • Strong proficiency in English is essential, spoken and written. German language is a significant advantage
  • ABAP knowledge is an advantage (ABAP tables and dictionary, debugging, feasibility check for custom solutions, enhancements, and user exits)
  • Good communication skills, both technical and business-oriented
  • Strong analytical abilities with focus on problem-solving, self-organized, and result-oriented professional
  • Respectful to internal procedures and management guidelines, towards the working and business environment
  • Positive and motivated team player, ready to share knowledge and flexible to learn new subjects
