About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Management Senior Analyst to join our team at Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day operations for Trade Support, Trade Matching, Trade Settlement, and Cash Management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform trade and cash operations, including trade matching, settlement, and cash management.
  • Communicate and resolve trade and cash queries and issues raised by Front Office, Brokers, Custodians, and Internal Investment teams.
  • Actively manage risks related to trades and cash to avoid failed settlement.
  • Perform periodic trade and cash reporting for Onshore counterparts.
  • Improve business processes and controls to mitigate operational risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
  • Hybrid work arrangement: willingness to work onsite and from home as needed.
  • Knowledge of securities instruments, operational processes, and trade life cycle.
  • Good analytical and diagnostic skills, with knowledge of process design.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong comprehension and confidence.
  • Strong investment, markets, and trades knowledge.
  • Proactive and willing to thrive in a highly critical function.
