Strategic Sourcing Director for Global Logistics and Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Director to lead our global logistics and supply chain efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to join CSL Behring and play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with CSL's global and procurement strategies to ensure clear goals and action plans for category management roles.
- Oversee effective category management and bid management processes, driving value from complex categories and ensuring that all global category leads have effective strategies in place.
- Leverage deep understanding of logistics and warehousing categories to develop appropriate sourcing strategies and ensure operational excellence across all categories.
- Establish and oversee supplier relationship management processes with critical, global suppliers, focusing on assurance of supply, quality, service, continuous improvement, and innovation while minimizing costs.
- Lead complex negotiations with key suppliers and provide coaching support for sourcing organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in strategic sourcing or relevant experience, including leadership experience leading a global team.
- Deep understanding of logistics and warehousing categories.
- Ability to develop appropriate sourcing strategies and drive innovation.
- Strong executive presence, demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, and ability to build effective relationships and influence peers and key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tailor messages to given audience and present information clearly and concisely.
