The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business law and experience in working with authorities, such as FINMA and FMA.
Key Responsibilities:- Registration of investment funds with FINMA
- Contact person for foreign investment funds in Switzerland
- Ensure control of legal requirements for Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, Singapore, etc.
- Analyse and evaluate cross-border distribution processes for investment funds
- Responsible for regulatory issues or questions regarding the onboarding of fund managers (KYC/AML, tax compliance, due diligence, etc.)
- Ongoing updating of country-specific compliance lists for fund documentation, investor information, financial reports, legal reporting, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Law or Paralegal
- Comparable experience in asset management or funds
- Authorities experience e.g. FINMA, FMA, AIFM, GFSC
- Fund contracts, fund documentation, and compliance manuals expertise
- All-rounder personality with organisational skills
- Professionalism and eloquent communication skills
- MS Office skills and IT flair
- Fluent in German and English
