Job Title: FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team at Nidecker Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and strategic support to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions from department heads.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial forecasts, analyzing variances and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide insights and recommendations that influence key business decisions.
  • Conduct profitability analysis on products, services, and business segments, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support various business scenarios, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards for real-time monitoring, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably within the sporting goods or outdoor industry but not necessary.
  • Proficiency in English and French are mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, with excellent knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for snowboarding and the outdoor industry.
