Financial Planning and Analysis Role

Nidecker Group, a leading action sports company, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional to join its finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and strategic support to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions from department heads.
  • Analyze monthly financial results, variances, and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct profitability analysis on products, services, and business segments to optimize revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyze sales trends and customer behavior, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, supporting internal and external audits as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably within the sporting goods or outdoor industry but not necessary.
  • Proficiency in English and French are mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
