Senior Manager / Director - Business Technology

As a Senior Manager / Director in Business Technology, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior IT executives in defining and implementing complex IT transformation programs. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of projects, including crafting organization-wide cloud strategies, implementing agile methodologies at scale, defining IT strategy, and overseeing substantial programs.



Your deep understanding of IT challenges will be key to helping our clients make well-informed technology decisions that align with their overall business goals and revolutionize their business models.



Key Responsibilities


  • Academic Excellence: Outstanding bachelor's or master's degree in Business and/or Information Technology from a renowned university
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge (7+ years) of practical project experience in digital transformation in at least one of the following industries: Financial Services, Consumer Goods & Retail, Manufacturing, and Life Science
  • Consulting Experience: Strong consulting experience (7+ years) and strong project management and/or change management skills
  • Conceptual Talent: Rational thinking and ease of combining technological understanding, strategic evaluation, and implementation work
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Fluency in English and German (Zurich/Basel) or French (Lausanne/Geneva) is mandatory (minimum C1 level written and spoken)
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in management with proven leadership skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Digital Affinity: Very good MS Office skills
  • Cultural Fit: High reliability, team spirit, and personal fit for a leading global management consulting firm
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work at customer sites, from Capgemini Invent offices, and from home
