We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Evooq, a global provider of technology-driven solutions for wealth managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) to ensure accuracy and compliance with Swiss GAAP standards and IFRS.
- Financial Record Management: Lead and support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required tasks, and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and sub-ledgers with the general ledger.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accurate vendor payments and customer invoicing.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist with the preparation of financial documents and supporting schedules for internal and external audits, and participate in finance projects and workflow excellence initiatives to drive process improvements and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a multinational or tech-driven organization.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Abacus accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, advanced functions), familiarity with Swiss GAAP or other local accounting standards, and fluency in English and French.
