About the Role


We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team at the Partners Group Headquarters in Zug, Switzerland. The successful candidate will have a solid background in legal and regulatory compliance related to financial institutions and will be comfortable working with international and multi-disciplinary teams.



Key Responsibilities



  • Maintaining compliance related systems and controls, executing compliance checks, and conducting investigations as needed
  • Drafting and reviewing periodic compliance reports, directives, and procedures
  • Assisting in coordination of regulatory filings and engaging in various regulatory projects from planning to implementation
  • Reviewing marketing materials and activities, liaising with internal and external auditors, and preparing necessary documentation for regulatory audits
  • Performing AML checks for Partners Group AG and staying updated with regulatory developments in Switzerland and Europe


Requirements



  • Degree in law, business administration, or finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, or legal roles within the financial services industry
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical thinker with the ability to work independently and efficiently in dynamic settings, skilled in implementing processes and procedures successfully
  • Critical thinking and excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated person, fast learner with strong analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in the MS Office suite
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders
