We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team at the University of Zurich. The successful candidate will have a strong background in disease modeling, cell death research, and biomedical computing.
Key Responsibilities- Explore various cell death pathways and their potential to eradicate resistant diseases in acute leukemia.
- Dissect the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic signaling programs using primary leukemia xenografts.
- Investigate the immunogenic aspect of programmed cell death instances.
- Work in an agile lab environment and contribute to scientific discovery.
- Apply state-of-the-art laboratory methodologies.
- Be receptive to encouragement and support for innovative ideas.
- A strong appetite for scientific discovery and interest in disease modeling, cell death research, and biomedical computing.
- A strong experimental track record.
- Motivation to work with a focused task force and guide students.
- An MD-PhD or PhD in biological or biomedical sciences or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate research effectively.
- A varied and interesting work environment.

Our estimated salary for this position is CHF 80,000 - 110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
