Procurement and Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Requirements Planner to join our team for a 3-month project with potential extension or internalization at CTC Resourcing Solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the proactive maintenance and continuous improvement of the supply of Customer Supplier Materials, ensuring timely availability of materials and effective communication with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively maintain and improve the supply of Customer Supplier Materials
  • Ensure timely updates to material plans considering changes to plans or material availability issues
  • Support inventory plans and optimization initiatives
  • Convert planned orders into material plans including creation and management of material planned requirements
  • Liaise with Supply Planner and Schedulers to ensure all material plans are up to date and responsive to changes in material requirements
  • Create and maintain detailed material planning parameters in Planning systems
  • Convert material requirements plan (purchase requisitions) into Purchase Orders
  • Expedite material availability through liaison with procurement and teams involved with inbound material processing
  • Create and manage material related KPIs and measures to ensure accurate understanding of material availability
  • Drive key material availability, mobilization or write actions to support optimal management of inventory while reducing scrap/waste

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in SCM, Procurement or any relevant field
  • Experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling and/or Purchasing
  • Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English is required, and German would be nice to have
  • Strong Teammate and able to work across cross-functional teams
