Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Galenica AG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Your primary focus will be on working with diverse datasets to generate insights and shape data products that drive business forward. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning to identify suitable analyses and apply appropriate solutions to solve various challenges.
You will work closely with internal teams, bridging the gap between advanced data analysis and business functions. Additionally, you will adapt to the agile development process, responding flexibly to changing project requirements and priorities.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Master's degree or PhD in economics, business informatics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in advanced analytics and machine learning, preferably in the Swiss healthcare sector, is highly desirable.
You should possess excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, along with advanced knowledge of statistical methods, data modeling, and working with databases. Experience with Neural Networks and/or Generative AI is an added advantage.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in Python and SQL, with other scripting languages (e.g., R) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) being an asset. Experience with Cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure, is also beneficial.
