Your Role

  • Apply thermal coatings to aircraft engine parts using a variety of equipment, fixtures, and processes.
  • Prepare and post-process parts for coating, including surface protection, grit blasting, and blending.
  • Create and run robotic programs on 6-axis robots.
  • Maintain equipment functionality by performing operations such as adding coating powder, changing spray nozzles, and checking fluids and filters.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to resolve them quickly.
  • Collaborate with process and equipment engineers, machinists, and laboratory specialists to meet specifications.
  • Interpret OEM repair manuals, drawings, and manufacturing specifications as required.
  • Use part handling devices to load and unload parts.
  • Maintain work areas using 5S standards.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in CNC machining, mechanical, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with thermal spray equipment, preferably in turbomachinery.
  • Robot programming experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a team environment.
  • English language proficiency and German language skills are an advantage.
