Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project charter, including project description, benefits review plan, and project initiation documentation.
  • Prepare reports, such as gate approval documentation, monthly updates, steering committee reports, financial forecasts, lessons learned, and project closure reports.
  • Coordinate gate reviews with IT PMO managers and request approvals at IT-Governance meetings.
  • Define work breakdown structures, aligning them with project goals, and assign work packages to business activities.
  • Develop project relevant ITRs and follow established processes.
  • Establish and host project governance forums, including team meetings, Steercos, and stand-ups.
  • Maintain risk registers, actions logs, assumptions logs, issues logs, dependencies logs, decisions logs, financials, and project plans.
  • Implement and manage project controls, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Facilitate information flow between the program level and project team.
  • Oversee project deliverables, working with workstream leads, and take responsibility for overall progress and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to achieve business deliverables.
  • Implement cost controls and monitor project actuals against budget.
  • Identify and track business benefits.
  • Provide regular reports to the steering committee.
  • Advise on any deviations from the plan or budget.
  • Prepare the business and IT for change, including change awareness, impact assessments, training, and adoption.
  • Perform periodic reviews and adjustments to the wider TCM program projects and plans.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • 5-10 years of experience leading process optimization and digital transformation projects as a Project Manager with both business and IT deliverables.
    • Experience working in enterprise projects with high degrees of integration.
    • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills, particularly with experience working with difficult or misaligned stakeholders on high-pressure, short-timeline projects.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience engaging with C-level executives and working on details with the team, including lending a hand to team members where needed.
    • Ability to quickly grasp context and scope, with the ability to hit the ground running.
    • Sensitivity to company pressures and a focus on delivery.
    • MRO or similar industries experience is an advantage.
    • Fluency in speaking and writing in English is a must; German is optional but could be an advantage in day-to-day work.
