Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Financial Support Specialist to join our team at ECOM Trading. As a key member of our finance department, you will provide administrative support to our Financial Controller, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide financial data entry and maintenance using SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage online banking, including foreign currency contracts, payments to suppliers, and chasing overdue accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date records of our company's cash flow position.
• Assist in applying for import loans, cancelling loans, and overseeing cash management on a daily basis.
• Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations, including foreign currency accounts.
• Support stock management and maintain accurate records of incoming shipments.
• Develop and implement new administrative systems to improve efficiency.
• Perform other duties as required, including covering for incoming deliveries and visitors to the office.

Requirements:

• Maths A Level or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience in a finance or office environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills.
• Practical and accurate skills in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use own initiative and work within teams as appropriate.
• Good analytical skills.
