The Private Markets financial operations team at LGT Capital Partners is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated investment controller to join their team. This role will focus on investment controlling, including coordination with global teams, relationship management, monitoring and analysis of investment activities, and reconciliation of monthly valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with global teams on investment controlling related activities;
- Manage relationships across various internal teams and stakeholders;
- Monitor and analyze investment related activities for private equity programs;
- Reconcile monthly valuations prepared by administrators;
- Supervise work performed by third-party external service providers;
- Prepare periodic reports for private equity programs;
- Forecast, manage cash effectively, and measure performance of private equity funds;
- Complete ad-hoc and recurring investor requests as needed;
- Participate in project implementation and initiatives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- An accounting or finance degree or qualification;
- At least 5 years of experience in private equity accounting/controlling/reporting, preferably in an open-end fund operational role;
- Developed IT skills, particularly advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel;
- Infrastructure experience is a plus;
- Fluency in English and German is required;
- A challenging mindset with a desire to understand the impact of various investment transactions on private equity programs;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation with ability to meet demanding deadlines.
