Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our small development team at LGT ILS Partners AG. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, refine requirements, and build impactful tools that drive business operations forward.

The primary project involves developing a portfolio management system, comprising:

• A collection of .NET services integrating with various data sources;
• A .NET back-end (Web API) running on IIS, responsible for core operations;
• T-SQL based complex reporting and BI functionality implemented with stored procedures;
• A React/TypeScript front-end.

This position requires full-stack development expertise, including front-end, back-end, and database work. Additional responsibilities include managing application infrastructure, collaborating directly with business users, and choosing technologies to suit project needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A University Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or any other quantitative studies;
• At least five years of experience in software development and programming, combined with a strong background in React/TypeScript, MS SQL/T-SQL, and .NET/C#;
• Strong verbal and written skills in English, with German language skills a plus;
• Experience with DevExpress/DevExtreme and familiarity with the financial, trading, or reinsurance industry would be a strong asset;
• A proactive and independent approach, with excellent teamwork and self-motivation skills;
• A pragmatic approach to development, ensuring clean and maintainable solutions.

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at €90,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide:
