System Architect

Hamilton Bonaduz AG is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team. As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our innovative solutions for the health sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop system architectures that meet the business and technical needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all development practices are in compliance with our best practices policies and procedures.
- Develop and improve process-driven systems as required by our products.
- Create and document functional processes for installation, run-in, and final QC macros.
- Cooperate with Product Management and Senior Engineering Management to define product maintenance projects, roadmaps, technologies, budgets, and more.
- Transfer and implement technologies, methodologies, and workflows as defined in common agreement with the Head of R&T.
- Develop and use product knowledge to innovatively respond to customer critical needs.
- Align the different disciplines and their interfaces from Hardware, Electronics, Embedded Software, and Software Development.
- Ensure that the system fits into our product strategy.
- Master's degree in SW, Mechatronic, Physics, or related field.
- At least 5+ years' experience leading large design efforts and coordinating cross-functional teams of 4 or more members.
- Proven experience in System-Model Design.
- Proven experience in simulation setup and results interpretation.
- Expert with at least one System-Modelling environment (Matlab/Simulink, Octave, Scilab, etc.).
- Experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent English with the ability to speak German (min. B2 level).
- Background (or knowledge) in Design Control Process.
- Knowledge of scripting languages as an advantage.
- Expert with at least one requirement-management tool (Doors, Polarion, etc.) - Polarion as an advantage.
- Experience with testing and data-analytics as an advantage (statistical approaches to data-analytics as an advantage).
- Robotics knowledge is an additional plus.
- Background in Physics or Fluid-dynamic as an advantage.
