VAT is a leading international developer, manufacturer, and supplier of high-performance high-end vacuum valves and vacuum sealing technology. We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Haag, Switzerland.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical customer support for VAT products, including analysis, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Monitor and maintain service workflows to ensure required lead times and provide concise Failure Analysis Reports.
- Leverage VAT ERP system and tools to select required parts for repair and order from warehouse.
- Complete repairs and test products according to factory specifications.
- Ensure VAT Database tracking and follow-up on all customer support and service requests.
- Collaborate with Product Management on technical challenges and improvements.
- Substitute Service Center Coordinator and perform related tasks.
- Create and ensure Standard Repair Procedure (SRP).
- Be open to working overtime and traveling internationally for field repair and training (10-20%).
Your Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship in mechanical or electronic field, or several years of professional experience in assembly.
- Knowledge of Low and High Vacuum is an advantage.
- Strong skills in mechanical assembly, basic electronics, analytical, and troubleshooting.
- Good German and English skills (writing and speaking), other languages beneficial.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with high level of quality awareness and independence.
- Diving license category B.
- Established skills in Microsoft Office applications.
