Senior Scientist for Technology Transfer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Tech Transfer team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to technology transfer and commercial operations related to biological drug substance upstream cell culture and downstream purification
  • Represent MS&T external manufacturing team to provide technical support to the biological drug substance tech transfer process
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external and internal partners
  • Develop and maintain strong technical familiarity with process and process equipment
  • Track progress of routine manufacturing against schedule and provide routine updates

Requirements:

  • Master or bachelor's in science or engineering degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, biochemical or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in drug substance manufacturing
  • A strong practical knowledge of the technologies related to mammalian cell culture, therapeutic protein purification and process engineering
  • Demonstrated ability in technical writing, computer-based knowledge, and communication skills
