Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our team at Bruker Switzerland AG. As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with business units, supply chain leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure their expectations are met and to provide access to other decision makers for procurement teams.
You will develop in-depth knowledge about the supply base industry, including industry analysis, supply analysis, and segmentation. You will also develop and implement sourcing strategies, conduct demand analysis, and track and report procurement performance.
As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for active management of threads/risks and balancing with potentials/opportunities. You will support the Commodity Managers in procurement topics and represent them on site. You will also provide minimum target annual savings through cost reductions, cost avoidance, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sourcing strategies
- Conduct demand analysis and track procurement performance
- Active management of threads/risks and balancing with potentials/opportunities
- Support Commodity Managers in procurement topics and represent them on site
- Provide minimum target annual savings through cost reductions, cost avoidance, and operational improvements
- Successfully completed studies in logistics, procurement, engineering sciences, or a related area
- Experience in the field of procurement
- Strong teamwork skills and proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Good English language skills are an advantage
