We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team in Switzerland, focused on growing our presence within the public sector. As a Data Analytics Sales Expert at Databricks, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving growth and adoption of our Data Intelligence Platform.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, securing wins and increasing platform usage within the public sector in Switzerland.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage all relevant stakeholders, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization of our solutions.
  • Employ a solution-based approach to selling, effectively communicating value and ROI to potential clients.
  • Pursue quick wins while navigating longer, more complex sales cycles.
  • Manage customer relationships, tracking details such as use cases, purchase timelines, and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Own the consumption story with customers, utilizing demand plans to maximize impact and deliver exceptional value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize ecosystem performance and drive business success.
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences, guiding successful negotiations and closure.
Key Requirements:
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions to public sector clients in Switzerland or a strong interest in transitioning to this industry segment.
  • A passion for winning new clients, demonstrating a hunter mentality.
  • Strong tenure in previous roles, with a deep understanding of sales methodologies and processes.
  • Experience working with consumption-based sales models, land and expand strategies, and creating demand for clients.
  • Familiarity with sales tools, such as account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling, and accurate forecasting.
  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships with champions and client teams, supporting territory plans.
  • Fluent German and business English required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
