We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Engineer to join our team at a pharmaceutical company based in Basel. As a Linux System Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux systems in a global enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
* Install and configure Linux systems, including RHEL 8/9 and up
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Linux systems and hardware
* Build new RHEL workstations for lab instrumentation
* Provide technical expertise for the planning and definition of new system requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, computer science, engineering, or mathematics
* 3 years of experience in Linux and/or Unix Systems Administration in an enterprise scale production environment
* Strong understanding and experience in Linux RHEL 8/9 and up in a global enterprise environment
* Excellent communication skills and knowledge of English (oral and written)
