About the Role:

The Trainee KYC Officer will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding of new clients and reviewing existing clients to ensure compliance with global policies and guidelines. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform due diligence controls on clients and prospects to identify potential reputational, PEP, and sanction risks.
  • Validate and update client profiles in our referential systems to reflect the KYC assessment.
  • Provide advice and support to business lines, compliance, and management to ensure smooth KYC processes.
  • Perform other KYC/AML support functions, such as filtering of PEP individuals.
Requirements:
  • University or business school graduate with an undergraduate degree qualifying you to work in the financial sector.
  • Fluent business-level English and German language skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the European and Swiss financial regulatory environment (AML, PEP, tax).
  • Good analytical and writing skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
