Technical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Coordinator to join our team at the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities related to electric motorcycles and vehicles, including research and development, technical rules, homologations, education, and projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement technical rules and regulations for electric motorcycles and vehicles, in collaboration with experts from the CTI and other sporting commissions.
- Support the development of new projects and initiatives related to electric motorcycles and vehicles, working closely with the Technical & Safety Department and CTI.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to other FIM projects and initiatives, as required.
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks, including preparation of agendas and minutes, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging trends and technologies in the field of electric motorcycles and vehicles, and provide recommendations for updates to technical regulations.
- Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering (PhD in a related field is an asset).
- At least 5 years of experience in a motorcycling/automotive related industry, preferably in R&D, with experience in project management and leadership.
- Excellent command of English and French (FIM official languages), with proficiency in technical documents and correspondence.
- Proven experience in project management and leadership, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in autonomy, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
The successful candidate will be required to work on weekends in connection with FIM events, with a range of 10 to 20 events per year.
