Are you a technical expert in the energy sector looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Solar Energy Technical Consultant to join our team in the Nordic region.

This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales skills, and customer relationship management. As a Solar Energy Technical Consultant, you will work independently within a small but driven team, providing technical advice and support to our resellers, installers, and end-users in the field of solar energy inverters and energy storage systems.

Main tasks:

  • Provide technical support and advice on sustainable energy solutions in the field of solar inverters and battery storage to sales colleagues within the ALSO Nordics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting assistance, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Be the technical point of contact and advisor for our resellers, installers, and their end customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant market trends and the latest products.
  • Participate in events, fairs, roadshows, business meetings, and keep training and certification workshops.
  • Obtain necessary technical pre-sales and after-sales technical certifications required by vendors.

Your profile:

  • Completed education in Electrical Engineering.
  • Several years of technical work experience in the energy sector (e.g., as an installer of Solar Energy & Battery Energy Storage Systems).
  • Knowledge of the energy sector (solar energy and energy storage) and a desire to delve deeper into this field.
  • Commercial mindset and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Professional-level English and preferably one or more Nordic languages.
  • Positive mindset and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to work independently but recognize the benefits of collaboration.
  • Expect some travel to support our Nordic customers.
  • Location preference: Sweden or Denmark, but Norway and Finland are also considered.
