Regional Technical Consultant in Solar Energy

Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to join our ALSO Nordic solar energy team as a Regional Technical Consultant in Solar Energy.

Your primary focus will be to provide technical support and advice on sustainable energy solutions in the field of solar inverters and battery storage to our sales colleagues within the ALSO Nordics.

You will be the technical point of contact and advisor for our resellers, installers, and their end customers, ensuring they receive the best possible support and guidance.

Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting assistance, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

As a key member of our team, you will stay up to date on relevant market trends and the latest products, participating in events, fairs, roadshows, business meetings, and keeping trainings and certification workshops.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Completed education in Electrical Engineering.
  • Several years of technical work experience in the energy sector, preferably as an installer of Solar Energy & Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
  • Knowledge of the energy sector, including solar energy and energy storage, and a desire to delve deeper into this field.
  • A commercial mindset and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in English and preferably one or more Nordic languages.
  • A positive mindset and a desire to learn.
  • The ability to work independently but recognize the benefits of collaboration.
  • Expectation of some travel to support our Nordic customers.
  • Location preference in Sweden or Denmark, but Norway and Finland are also considered.
