We are seeking an Electronics Systems Specialist to join our team. As a consultant, you will work closely with our clients to support their project realization on site by bringing your expertise and skills.

The ideal candidate will be agile, eager to adapt to different work environments, and curious about the latest projects and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for railroad applications, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to specify components and define technical requirements.
  • Perform type and qualification tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Work with series testing and production teams to implement quality control measures.
  • Act as a technical contact for customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation required for each project.
  • Support the service department and repair center in analyzing and resolving faults.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on testing, verification, and validation of drives and power electronics.
  • Solid background experience and strong interest in hands-on R&D experimentation, testing, validation, qualification, and certification of power electronic converters in medium voltage and high power test environments.
  • Expertise and experience with test systems, equipment, and infrastructure related to validation and qualification of power electronic components and subsystems, including protocols for safety, quality, reliability, and certification.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German is an asset.
  • Ability to travel sporadically.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately CHF 90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
