Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Aerospace Structural Analyst to work on the structural integrity of our aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the structure of our aircraft, including stress analysis and finite element analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on aerospace structural analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the structure of our aircraft, including stress analysis and finite element analysis
- Prepare stress notes, formal engineering analysis reports, test plans, and test reports
- Support analytical cross-functional teams and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and check the work of others, with a focus on Cockpit structural analyses
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including CS 23
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of postgraduate experience in Stress Analysis, specifically in the Aerospace sector
- Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or similar Finite Element packages
- Knowledge of CS 23 and experience of leading and checking the work of others
- English language skills on level C1 or better, with German knowledge an advantage
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-tasking, and organized, with a focus on meeting challenging timescales
