Structure Analyst Cockpit

We are seeking a highly skilled Structure Analyst Cockpit to join our team at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing the structural integrity of our aircraft, with a focus on the cockpit area.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Perform static stress analysis and finite element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structures, with a focus on the cockpit area.
  • Prepare stress notes, formal engineering analysis reports, test plans, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.

Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of postgraduate experience in stress analysis, specifically in the aerospace sector.
  • Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or similar finite element packages.
  • Knowledge of CS 23 and experience in leading and checking the work of others, as well as experience in cockpit structural analyses.
  • English language skills at level C1 or better, with German knowledge as an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-tasking, and organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work under challenging timescales.
