Energy Trading Manager

At Repower AG, we're seeking an experienced Energy Trading Manager to lead our proprietary trading desk in European physical and financial energy markets. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee a well-established trading desk focused on European power, gas, and emissions markets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of traders to achieve successful proprietary trading results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with sales and trading counterparties to drive origination.
- Implement risk management strategies to maximize return on value-at-risk (VaR) while complying with assigned limits.
- Collaborate with our trading desk in Milan to foster knowledge sharing and improve trading outcomes.
- Support our Asset Trading team and Portfolio Management with fundamental views and market insights.
- At least 10 years of experience in energy trading in European markets on a proprietary basis.
- Proven track record of achieving successful and consistent proprietary trading results.
- Previous experience in leading trading teams as a Trading Manager or Lead Trader.
- Extensive network of contacts within European commodity trading.
