About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced ombudsperson support professional to join our team at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi). In this role, you will provide essential support to our ombudsperson, helping to maintain a safe and respectful work environment by facilitating good communications, understanding, and trust within the organization and with external parties.

As ombudsperson support, you will assist the ombudsperson in managing and/or resolving any disputes or situations regarding allegations of misconduct. You will also help to facilitate dialogue, use mediation and coaching techniques, and maintain accurate records of complaints and recommendations.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in dispute resolution and conflict management to support the creation of a positive and inclusive work environment at DNDi.

Main Duties

  • Assist the ombudsperson in managing and resolving disputes and situations;
  • Facilitate good communications, understanding, and trust within the organization and with external parties;
  • Help to facilitate dialogue and use mediation and coaching techniques;
  • Maintain accurate records of complaints, findings, and recommendations;
  • Liaise with the Director of Human Resources and Organisation and the HR Health & Wellbeing Specialist;
  • Support Leadership in governance actions as needed;
  • Collaborate with other professionals as part of the "DNDi Ombudsteam".
