We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Associate to join our team in the Registry of the ILO Administrative Tribunal (TRIB).
About the JobThis position will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, with an estimated annual salary range of $80,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Registrar of the ILO Administrative Tribunal and work closely with the legal officers' team to support the Tribunal's proceedings.
Responsibilities- Draft summaries of cases and notes of jurisprudence in English and French, working from written submissions in both languages.
- Conduct research and studies on problems relating to international administrative law and relevant jurisprudence.
- Support the Judges and the Registrar during Tribunal sessions by preparing background material and documents as requested.
- Participate in internal Registry meetings with legal officers and contribute to updating the Triblex database.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Registrar.
- A first-level university degree in law.
- Relevant professional experience would be an advantage.
- An excellent command of two working languages (English and French) of the Tribunal.
- The ability to analyze defined aspects of legal issues, draft clearly, and concisely prepare studies and comments.
