About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Planner to join our team at Université de Lausanne. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning and executing procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement plans to meet business requirements
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Manage procurement processes from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics to inform business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
