We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our team as a Demichef de Partie. As a key member of our infrastructure and energy sector, you will be responsible for leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS / GAAP, ensuring timely completion and review.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Collaborate with the budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing financial performance across projects.
  • Compliance & Audit Management: Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations, tax compliance, and manage external and internal audits.
  • Project Accounting Oversight: Oversee cost accounting, project allocations, and capital expenditure tracking to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting efficiency, and ERP systems integration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and external auditors to align financial strategies with operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on the infrastructure or energy sector.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS / GAAP, tax regulations, and project accounting principles. Fluency in English and German is required.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
