About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality advice and support on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules to clients and stakeholders. They will analyze complex cases, draft and update internal processes and procedures, and provide training on these topics to the Front Office and Client Documentation Teams.
This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to deal with multiple matters simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services industry, particularly in risk or compliance roles, and possess subject matter expertise on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality advice and support on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules to clients and stakeholders
- Analyze complex cases and develop solutions from a US tax and CRS perspective
- Draft and update internal processes and procedures relating to QI (QDD), FATCA, and CRS
- Provide training on QI, FATCA, and CRS to the Front Office and Client Documentation Teams
- Assess tax risk in accordance with AMLA and identify potential tax offenses
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services industry as Risk/Compliance Officer
- Subject matter expertise on FATCA, CRS, and QI rules
- Capacity to deal with several matters simultaneously
- Able to analyze and review wealth and legal structures from a tax compliance perspective
- Well-versed on regulations and documentation in relation to onboarding of US clients
